Nikocado Avocado Woke up 250lbs Lighter! Vegan Again?!

Image
The Mukbang king, Nikocado Avocado, broke his 7 month silence after uploading a video to his channel last night.   He first appeared in the video wearing a big Panda head mask.  Beyond that gigantic panda mask, there was something noticeably different about Nick!   There was a super thin body under the mask!  Could this be a clone of Nikocado?  Is this really the same person who would down several cheeseburgers, nuggets, stuffed tacos and huge plates of noodles in one sitting?  Nikocado is the self proclaimed mukbang king of the internet and with that title came loads of weight gain. It was a real shock to see him slimmer than what he used to be as a vegan.  At the beginning of the video, he stated how he was "two steps ahead."  He went on to say that he had been a part of one of the greatest social experiments of his entire life and likened himself to being a villain of a story where he was able to have significant influence over his followers while remaining two steps ahead

WE WANT ORGANIC MILK STARBUCKS!!

Image
Many coffee drinkers are fans of Starbucks. From the caramel macchiatos to the vanilla lattes, the taste in a cup of Starbucks coffee really packs a punch! Though the taste may be good to some coffee fiends, one can’t help but wonder if Starbucks is using GMO free ingredients in their products. Truth be told, they have made the step to cease using milk from cows injected with the artificial growth hormone rBST in 2007! It’s wonderful that they have stopped using rBST milk in their products. However, they are still giving genetically modified feed to cows. This is definitely not a wise practice for a company like Starbucks to continue to do! GMO Inside is running a petition to get Starbucks to cease giving GM feed to cows. If you want completely organic milk and dairy products from Starbucks, sign the petition NOW!

Sustainable Fashion with Sam Edelman's Cork 'Addison' Flats

Image
Conscious and sustainable choices in fashion can be hard to come by. Fashion designers should aim to create clothing, shoes and accessories made from natural, renewable resources. We were super hyped when we saw these amazing shoes from Sam Edelman's Circus line. These amazing flats are made from cork, the bark tissue from the Cork Oak or Quercus suber . Cork forests are primarily found in Portugal, Spain and Italy. Cork is a completely sustainable material as it is easily recyclable and emits much less carbon dioxide than other non renewable resources. The cork bark is not fully harvested until the tree reaches a prime age of approximately 40 years old. Harvesting cork entails a strict and sustainable process as no part of the cork bark is ever wasted or discarded. These spunky and chic flats are perfect for the current spring season. They are lightweight yet very durable due to the cork material. A supersonic, neon pink lining accentuates the shoe, and offers a bold an

Earth Lab Cosmetics Vegan Mineral Pencil Review

Image
Next on the review plate is Canadian brand-- Earth Lab Cosmetics, vegan mineral pencil. I had been looking across the seas and beyond to find a good, wholesome, chemical free eyeliner. Fortunately, this little beauty in all of its natural goodness caught my eye.  Canadian makeup brands are usually conscious companies who care about the environment and well being.  This is a really great jojoba based eyeliner pencil.  The strokes that the liner provides are thick and it quickly lines the lid.  Thinner, liquid based eyeliners require a very steady hand in order to achieve precision.  If you prefer your liner to apply like the consistency of a crayon, then this is the one for you.  This eye pencil can even be used as an eye shadow for a daring smoky eye look.   You will be able to create sultry, bold and velvety eye looks with this mineral pencil. It's so smooth and soft going on! The natural and vegan ingredients in the product make it ideal for sensitive skin or eyes. Natural makeup

If you're going to LIVE it then KNOW ALL about it: Gluten Free Life

Image
The biggest faux pas that anyone can have is to be completely misinformed about a lived lifestyle when grilled about what it actually entails. People should really stop jumping on diet & lifestyle bandwagons because it makes those who actually live and know the life look bad. Jimmy Kimmel, who is obviously not very knowledgeable about eating gluten free himself, decided to take his cameras out on the road to find out if those who claimed to be gluten free really knew what gluten is. If Mr. Kimmel knew that he could still enjoy pizza---gluten free pizza that is, he probably wouldn't be so critical of the diet. An issue so very serious in nature should not be the bullseye of someone's silly, comical story lines. There are individuals living and eating gluten free due to various medical and health conditions. Some people have wheat allergies and some are just unable to tolerate gluten in their bodies. Still, it was interesting to see a few of these people who claimed

ORGANIQUE BY HIMALAYA NEEM & POMEGRANATE TOOTHPASTE REVIEW

Image
If you were left on an island with only one personal care item allowed what would you choose? If toothpaste was your answer, then by golly, we've sure got something in common. Toothpaste is absolutely necessary for maintaining basic hygiene and personal health. The average person brushes their teeth at least twice a day. The ingredients of toothpaste should always be read and understood by the conscious human being. That white, gooey or clear, jelly matter goes into your mouth every day. If you've become especially concerned about your toothpaste's ingredients and have decided to stay clear of dental hygienic items with fluoride, artificial colors and sodium lauryl sulfate, then you might take an interest in Himalaya by Botanique's neem and pomegranate toothpaste. This is one of the only toothpastes that consists of Ayurvedic herbs like neem and amla. Himalaya by Botanique was definitely on to something by utilizing neem in this toothpaste. Neem has some very potent ant

Is Creme of Nature's Straight from Eden line all Natural?

Image
After viewing an advertisement for Creme of Nature's Straight from Eden line in a popular urban magazine, I think it is high time to explore the "jump on the natural bandwagon" craze that many commercial and mass-market companies have been embarking on. The advertisements, commercials, billboards and pr releases concerning products from companies who did not originally begin business for the sole purpose of selling products that are 100 percent natural. This is directly in regards to hair, beauty, food and skin care companies that have been around for decades that have never marketed, created and sold products that are considered to be natural or plant-based. If you haven't noticed, many companies are now starting to create products for health conscious consumers. However, many health conscious consumers are being duped by mass market, commercial companies that use certain keywords designed to grab these consumers' attention. Don't be fooled by a word on a

Shea Terra Organics Mongongo & Banana Hair Food Masque Review

Image
If you haven't heard of Shea-Terra Organics, your skin, hair and body are definitely missing out on some luxurious and scrumptious treats.  Shea Terra Organics utilizes shea butter as a main ingredient in many of their products.  The ingredients used in the skin and hair products at Shea Terra are sourced from Africa and contain therapeutic and healing properties.  The Mongongo & Banana Hair Food Masque is a rich shea based conditioner.  The masque is 30% shea butter and this can certainly be felt when applying the masque to the hair.  Light orange in color, the masque has a lightly whipped consistency.  It's a thick creme and  It doesn't disintegrate too well.  This product was applied to thick, textured, curly hair over the course of three months.  The product has a tendency to sit on top of the hair.  Shea butter has very strong emollient properties and can be a really awesome moisturizer.  As much as we wanted to really love this product, it failed to happen.  Deep
