FDA Bans First FD&C Dye! Which Will be Next?

The FDA has moved to finally ban Red Dye No. 3 from use in food and drugs in America.  Red Dye No. 3 was first determined to be a cancer causing color additive almost 30 years ago.  Studies conducted using labs rats found that they became inflicted with the disease after consuming large amounts of Red dye No. 3.  Thirty years ago, the FDA officially banned Red Dye No. 3 from use in cosmetics but left the door open for it to be used as a color additive in food and prescription drugs.  By January 2027, the FDA has ordered that Red Dye No 3 must be removed from all food in the USA and by 2028--from all drugs. The field of medicine has evolved since its earliest and historical days when Hippocrates sought out a new system to explain and understand illnesses.  During those days, the main goal was to diagnose an individual's problem and provide a way to restore balance among the humors using logic and philosophy. New Year’s Message On Love Languages and Giving

2016 turned out to be one of the best years of my life. It was the year that I realized that only I have the power to make all of my dreams come true. It was also the year that I turned 30, marking three decades of life lived on earth! I’ve heard other people claim that a bright light suddenly goes off once you hit the third decade. I don’t know if that’s completely true, but I will say that it kind of feels like it might be! While doing my annual end of year reflections, I thought about a book that I read about 5 or 6 years ago. The book is called, “The Five Love Languages” written by Gary Chapman. It is one of those ‘once you read it, life suddenly becomes clearer’ books! What are the Five Love Languages?
