After an article was posted on the Green News Guide regarding Summer Walker feeding her baby hemp and honey, she took to her Instagram live to speak about different topics including why she was feeding her baby a hemp, honey and mushroom mixture in the recent past.  Summer owes no one an explanation as to why she fed her baby the whole foods mixture but the reason she did so was very clear.  She mentioned that her baby had a situation or what possibly was a minor medical condition.   Obviously, she independently discovered foods and herbs that would help her baby and used them to aid in healing.  In her live, she stated that the herbal mixture she gave to the baby “worked” and cleared up the issue that she was having at the time.  She said it was a short-term natural remedy that she fed to her baby.  In the previous article, I stated that people were jumping to conclusions and making assumptions that were not based on facts.  I also stated that people shouldn’t be judged for diets that

Summer Walker recently came under fire when she posted a photo of her and her baby as well as a photo of products that she was feeding her baby.  The photo showed a picture of hemp seeds, raw honey, and mushroom powder.  It’s clear she was prepping the drink for her baby as there was a bottle next to the items.  Summer Walker innocently shared a photo of plant based nutrients seemingly wanting to show others that she is a health conscious mother who cares about the foods that she’s feeding her baby and I’m sure she was expecting a positive response from others but the opposite came running. A whole host of ignorant comments were suddenly then spewed towards Summer after she made her posts. One person criticized her in a tweet saying, “I just know Summer Walker not really feeding her baby seeds honey & shrooms. CPS go get that baby before I do it.”  Another ignorant comment stated: “Not y’all acting like people need to have kids to know it’s wrong for summer walker to feed her child

I had not known when I saw the video's premiere that Jazmine had been making some major lifestyle changes! the video was so attractive for the simple fact that she was surrounded by all that gorgeous greenery. I don’t think that the people were ready for the new black anthem that Mrs. Beyonce Knowles-Carter dropped on Juneteenth 2020. This is the most Africa-centered, black empowerment song that I’ve heard from a Black American since “Lift every Voice & Sing!” Actually, come to think of it, Lift Every Voice and Sing was not such a stark reminder of the actual history of black people as Black Parade is. The song, written by James Weldon Johnson was a powerful ode to freedom. When Weldon Johnson wrote Lift Every Voice and Sing in the year 1900, slavery in America had ended only a mere 35 years earlier. It was a song of black unity and a subdued poetic showmanship of pride that black people were just mustering up the courage to reclaim. Black Parade is a brazen and oh so bold, soul stirring, hip turning, beat-booming, ancestor appreciating, motherland dripping song from the ever so talented Beyonce!
