Can RFK Jr Make America Healthy Again?
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been chosen by President Trump to oversee the Department of Health and Human Services. Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. or RFK Jr. as he’s affectionately nicknamed, hails from the very promininent and politically involved Kennedy family. He has a great
legacy to uphold as the Kennedy family has so strongly and positively impacted the historical and political landscape of the United States. That family has experienced so much tragedy amongst its members but they’ve
managed to overcome. The matriarch and patriarch of the Kennedy family, Joseph and Rose must be smiling down with joy about the impact that their entire lineage has made on society.
RFK Jr. is an environmentalist that has been a leading figure in the mission to protect the planet and could be considered a Godfather of environmentalism due to all of his environmentally focused work and generous efforts to create change within the field. He founded the Pace University Environmental Litigation Clinic and while there, he along with his students, completed legal work for the purpose of cleaning the environment. He also founded the Waterkeeper Alliance, an organization whose sole mission lies in the promotion of drinkable, fishable and swimmable waterways worldwide.
RFK Jr. has served as chairman of The Children’s Health Defense. While holding the position, he’s brought awareness to public health topics such as vaccination, water fluoridation and pesticides in food and agriculture. He’s been publicly vocal about the dangers of FD&C dyes such as tartrazine (Yellow 5) and its harmful effects on the body.
RFK Jr. believes that vaccines need to be thoroughly tested before they are made available to the public. Vaccines that have been recently released for public use, most notably during the coronavirus pandemic, did an overwhelming amount of harm than good and only a wise individual will be able to admit to this truth. Perhaps RFK Jr. will be the one to help unify parties on various food and drug issues. Democratic politician, Bernie Sanders has recently voiced his support of RFK's criticism of the U.S. food industry.
What America needs right now is truth. The people of America need the blind folds to be removed from their eyes. America needs to return to the truth. Truth has been forsaken in American society and replaced with deception, most particularly, within the pharmaceutical industry. Truth has been overcome by lies, unfortunate agendas and greed.
RFK Jr. informed the public that America is one of only two countries that allows the widespread use of pharmaceutical advertisements to sell drugs. America has got to be tired after years of seeing all of the ridiculous advertisements featuring happy go lucky people dancing to oddly done covers of pop songs, while being led to believe that the latest and greatest drug will bring them to a state of health. It is with great hope that this practice will be officially outlawed when RFK Jr. begins his position as Secretary of DHHS (Department of Health and Human Services).
As the nominee for Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, RFK Jr. will be on a mission to MAHA (Make America Healthy Again). The MAHA movement is independent of any particular party. It's a movement that accepts the simple realization that America is not in a good place health-wise. Placing focus on what an individual consumes is one solution. He has laid out a few goals to get America back to a healthy state. These include the prevention of government funds from being used to buy soda and processed foods and limiting the fees the FDA receives from pharmaceutical companies. He also plans to devote half of the National Institute of Health's budget to research centered on "preventive, alternative and holistic approaches to health."
America needs someone like RFK Jr. to expose
the deception and be fearlessly vocal about real contributors of diseases that are widely prevalent in this country. Real wisdom and transparency are necessary if the aim is to help make America healthy and become less dependent on drugs and pharmaceuticals. RFK Jr. is a wise man who's made quite an impact on our society prior to his new role. It will be a tough road to help create and enforce policy that will make America healthy but he is the one for the job.
It also should be said that no one
is perfect. What good is it to revel in a man’s past faults if his shortcomings have been replaced with evidence of so much goodwill? RFK Jr. has the necessary qualities to lead and to initiate policies that will Make America Healthy Again. He has the guts and drive needed to create real reform within America's most important department--the DHHS.
