Nikocado Avocado Woke up 250lbs Lighter! Vegan Again?!

The Mukbang king, Nikocado Avocado, broke his 7 month silence after uploading a video to his channel last night.   He first appeared in the video wearing a big Panda head mask.  Beyond that gigantic panda mask, there was something noticeably different about Nick!   There was a super thin body under the mask!  Could this be a clone of Nikocado?  Is this really the same person who would down several cheeseburgers, nuggets, stuffed tacos and huge plates of noodles in one sitting?  Nikocado is the self proclaimed mukbang king of the internet and with that title came loads of weight gain. It was a real shock to see him slimmer than what he used to be as a vegan.  At the beginning of the video, he stated how he was "two steps ahead."  He went on to say that he had been a part of one of the greatest social experiments of his entire life and likened himself to being a villain of a story where he was able to have significant influence over his followers while remaining two steps ahead

Should Elon Musk Sit Down With Bill Gates to Discuss Climate?

The beef soup between Bill Gates and Elon Musk doesn't seem to be simmering down any time soon!  The two had a small online spat during the pandemic in 2020 but it seems that engine has revved up again recently when Bill Gates sat down with Bloomberg to discuss his climate tech investments and solutions.  These two men have tremendous influence, intelligence and resources that, when combined in partnership, could do so much good for the world.  The world will never know why the two businessmen choose to keep a distance.  It's actually a bit pitiful and kind of like watching a father and son throw digs at the other every so often.  They probably could learn a fair amount of knowledge from each other if they were to put their small differences aside.

There are indicators that lead me to believe that the two would get along IRL if they were both willing to clear a time in their schedules, plan a meeting and have a serious discussion about matters that are near and dear to the both of them.  Mr. Gates seems like he is willing to engage with Elon and wants to discuss climate matters with him.  During his interview with Bloomberg senior executive, John Fraher, he stated that he saw Mr. Musk at the Breakthrough Prize Awards ceremony this past April after Fraher asked if he speaks to him at all.

When asked if he was disappointed that Musk doesn't talk much about the climate, he had this to say:

"He talks a lot. I hope he'll talk more about climate. You know, he's very, very smart. He's made a contribution within that area that is super important."  When asked about potential climate topics he would discuss with Musk, Bill laughingly stated, "I don't think he'll listen to anybody telling him what to talk about so--you know--he's unique, and he'll talk about whatever he feels like."

During the interview, Mr. Gates has admitted to the fact that Musk's company, Tesla is "a huge contribution to driving the car industry towards electric."

Why doesn't Elon, a man who's created one of the greatest climate friendly companies in the world, want to talk more about this global issue?  He should be one of the most passionate people who is dedicated to discussing climate matters on a global scale.  It seems his belief is that humanity or earth has experienced many catastrophic climate change events but life continued so he feels it is pointless to take an alarmist stance about the general issue of climate change.  He revealed his thoughts on climate change in a podcast called, Real Talks with Zuby.

The thing is that while life may be continuing after these events, the quality of life that each of those new human civilizations face are negatively impacted on a much greater level.   While discussing lifestyle, he brought up steak and how people shouldn't be made to feel guilty about the actions that they do, which may include eating a steak.  Sure, an individual having a steak every now and then can't really hurt anyone but when you process this action on a collective scale the lightbulb will begin to brighten.

Think about the hundreds of millions of people who eat a steak every now and then and you'll be more able to see why it's actually not a good idea (BAMFEI). Having a piece of steak may feel fine and taste great in the moment but when you realize the collective impact that eating steak or beef has on animal emissions, you'll instead opt to eat less or make conscious decisions to stop eating it altogether.  Lifestyle is extremely important for resolving our environmental problems.

Bill Gates confessed to his own high carbon footprint near the end of the interview and said that it is why he is adamant about getting the various emissions sources to zero. He even discussed alternative energy sources such as fusion power which is much more feasible because it isn't weather dependent.  He expressed in his interview that he feels quite optimistic about reducing emissions now more than ever and believes that power generation is a huge climate solution that will have a positive impact.

In the Real Talks podcast which premiered last December, Elon briefly touched on a few climate solutions such as solar batteries and it was clear that he is a believer in modes of decentralized power generation.  Bill touched on wind and solar sources of power in his most recent interview with Bloomberg.  This goes to show that the two would have at least one or two climate topics to discuss together.

They need to just do it.  Put the egos aside, get in touch and make an attempt to have a serious discussion but the reasons behind doing so would need to be for the greater good rather than selfish motivations.
