The Mukbang king, Nikocado Avocado, broke his 7 month silence after uploading a video to his channel last night. He first appeared in the video wearing a big Panda head mask. Beyond that gigantic panda mask, there was something noticeably different about Nick! There was a super thin body under the mask! Could this be a clone of Nikocado? Is this really the same person who would down several cheeseburgers, nuggets, stuffed tacos and huge plates of noodles in one sitting? Nikocado is the self proclaimed mukbang king of the internet and with that title came loads of weight gain. It was a real shock to see him slimmer than what he used to be as a vegan. At the beginning of the video, he stated how he was "two steps ahead." He went on to say that he had been a part of one of the greatest social experiments of his entire life and likened himself to being a villain of a story where he was able to have significant influence over his followers while remaining two steps ahead

The show sees Janet become acquainted with 21 of THE hottest, MOST toxic housemates you’ve ever seen! What’d you think?! It's complete comedy (gotcha)! Though the show may be a total spoof, the contaminants and toxins spoken about are all very real. Benzene, formaldehyde, carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide are a few of the 21 pollutants that can fill your home when you use a gas stove. Methane is certainly not our friend!
Gas Leaks Project has spearheaded the “Hot and Toxic” public service campaign, which is the largest one to spread awareness about the dangers of gas stoves. The organization spent a whopping 1 million dollars on this national public service campaign. One of the purposes of the campaign is to encourage individuals to become acquainted with cleaner forms of electricity and to bring about change in the industry where gas stoves are concerned. The public service campaign launched on billboards in Los Angeles and Chicago last month.
The organization has also created a petition addressed to the Consumer Product Safety Commission to require manufacturers of gas stoves and ovens to incorporate warning labels on products describing the dangers of the stoves. Please sign the petition here!
Madagascar developed an herbal drink and introduced it on April 20th. It is being hailed as a cure for COVID-19 in Africa. WHO has licensed many herbal medicines for the treatment of various illnesses. The president, Andry Rajeolina, became irate because WHO made no mention of the herbal drink. Matshidiso Moeti, regional director of WHO office in Africa, stated “We have offered to support the design of a study to look into this product. We are in discussion to sort out the way forward,'' Covid Organics was developed by the Malagasy Institute of Applied Research (IMRA) and the drink has been shipped to various African countries such as Chad, Guinea Bissau and Nigeria. Apple premiered their yearly Apple Event introducing the new Apple Series 9 Apple Watch and the iPhone 15 standard, plus and pro models. During the event, a commercial was premiered featuring Octavia Spencer, Tim Cook (CEO of Apple), Lisa Jackson (VP of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives. This funny commercial saw Octavia present herself as “Mother Nature,” a stern yet comical corporate responsibility officer. Before Octavia entered the scene, all the officers and workers at the meeting were shuffling around looking nervous and anxious while drinks shook on the table. We even saw Tim Cook rehearsing the lines that he would repeat to Mother Nature when she entered. After Mother Nature arrives, Tim Cook, asks her “how was the weather getting in?” Mother Nature then says, “the weather was however I wanted it to be!” Mother nature reminds Mr. Cook of his promise in 2020—which is to bring Apple’s carbon footprint to zero by 2030. Nine individuals passed away from consumption of endangered marine turtles in Pemba Island, Zanzibar last month. A total of eight children and one adult died due to chelonitoxism or food poisoning from the contaminated turtle meat. Death from chelonitoxication is thought to be a rare happening and is mostly associated with consuming marine turtles such as Green sea turtle, Hawksbill turtle, Olive Ridley and Leatherback turtles. Consumption of sea turtles is considered a delicacy in remote places and African countries such as Tanzania and Madagascar, French Polynesia and Indo-Pacific regions. The sea meat is usually consumed at celebratory gatherings. The individuals who cook and consume marine turtles are unable to decipher if the meat is toxic because the marine turtles appear healthy and do not display any symptoms.
