Nicki Minaj has partnered with green sneaker brand, LØCI to produce a collection consisting of 11 different pairs of sneakers.  LØCI is a black owned sneaker brand who is committed to crafting products made of sustainable materials such as Bio leather made from food grade corn and natural cork insoles. The  sneakers also consist of materials made from recycled rubber, foam, bamboo and ocean plastic from the Mediterranean Sea.  The vegan eco-luxe company strives to remain environmentally conscious throughout the various phases of production and manufacturing.  Each pair of sneakers are made with 20 recycled bottles sourced from the Mediterranean Sea.

Nicki Minaj gloated about the release of her new environmentally conscious sneaker collection in a surprise Instagram post.

LØCI’s materials are sourced from responsible suppliers all around the world.  Ten percent of LØCI’s profits are donated to bio-diversity charities on an annual basis. LØCI also has a sneaker recycling program which allows customers to recycle their old sneakers in exchange for a promotional code of $30 per recycled sneaker.  Once the sneakers are received, LØCI goes to work tearing apart the sneaker and recycling the materials.
