Reviewing Gobble: Is it Better than Hello Fresh?

Today, I’m reviewing another pre-prepped meal delivery company called Gobble. I learned about Gobble from my sister who had a friend that recommended it to her. Her friend loved the fact that the foods were ethnic and very quick to prepare.
Gobble is similar to other pre-prepped meal delivery companies such as Hello Fresh and Green Chef. In the pre-prepped world of cooking, recipe ingredients arrive to your door already chopped, portioned or peeled. You’re simply responsible for cooking the chosen meals yourself. If you are a seasoned chef or cook, then you know that this makes the work revolving around cooking extremely easy since most of your time is centered on prepping the ingredients that are needed.
Gobble offers three different menus: Classic, Vegetarian and Lean and Clean. Classic offers a variety of meals, which include meat, poultry and fish. The vegetarian menu does not include meat items and the Lean and Clean menu incorporates meals made solely with protein and healthy fats (hmm sounds like keto). Like Hello Fresh, Gobble offers a two person plan or a four person plan for a minimum of 2, 3 or 4 nights per week. The plans round out to $11.99 per serving. So a two-person plan at 3 nights per week would cost approximately $72 and a four-person plan would be $144. I'd say that Gobble is a bit more pricy than Hello Fresh.
The menu is also very diverse and a typical weekly menu will offer recipes from a variety of regions. A typical menu might include a Puerto Rican, Indian, Japanese, Greek, Italian or Mexican recipe. A big kudos to executive chef Thomas Ricci who begins the creation of each recipe with a specific ingredient or world cuisine. This is definitely the right meal delivery program for adventurous eaters, or those who enjoy real variety when cooking or eating. I appreciate this aspect the most about Gobble—not to mention, the cute sounding name. Cool pick!
The meals that I’m reviewing are
“Singapore Street Noodles” and “Thai Noodle Stir Fry”
Recipes come with a recipe card listing all ingredients, needed supplies and the number of calories per serving. The Singapore Street Noodles deserves 5 out of 5 stars!!!!! A-mmaaaazingly delicious! Whatever is in that korma spice blend…I absolutely need it. The flavorful ingredients meshed so well together (basil, thai sauce, chili garlic sauce and cilantro). The only step I changed was frying my egg because sunny side up just isn't my thing.
Recipe cards have a “Did you know” section, which offers a fun fact about the country or an ingredient in the recipe. From my cards, I learned that the brown color from soy sauce comes from melanoidin and Singapore is famous for food hawker stalls that immigrants from surrounding countries would bring known recipes to adapt them into the local Singaporean cuisine.
The Thai Noodle Stir Fry was a delicious meat free recipe that would wow any one who tried it. The black pepper and chili garlic sauces really gave this meal a flavorful punch and made what some may consider as tasteless (tofu) so astoundingly exciting.
I'd highly recommend Gobble to every one and I can’t speak more highly of it. Folks, if you want to take your dinner recipe stash to the next level, try Gobble. You’ll be glad you did! You can try two meals for two for only $18!!!! What???? Yess! Get this deal and order Gobble now by visiting the link below:
