5 Natural Ingredients For Longevity

The path of aging can be viewed as a bothersome, inevitable part of life to some.  Those invested in the journey  often look to various methods of biohacking as a way to lengthen what can be considered a short life  span.  The average life  expectancy for women is 80 years old and 74 years old for men.  Living to 100  years old may seem inconceivable but the reality is that there are individuals living past 100 years old.   According to the Pew Research Center, our global world is home to 722,000 centenarians most of whom  live in Asian countries such as Japan and China (Schaeffer, 2024).   The number of centenarians currently living is expected to quadruple  over the next 30 years. Will people begin to live past 200 and 300 years old in the near future? Prince William Creates £50 million Prize for Green Change Agents and Environmental Workers

Prince William is spearheading a new earthcentric initiative with his Royal Foundation. He announced a 50 million pound Earthshot Prize, which will be awarded on an annual basis to five different people or organizations whose mission, is focused on protecting the earth.

The five objectives central to the Earthshot prize are: protecting and restoring nature, cleaning the air, reviving oceans, building a waste free world and fixing the climate. The earth-shot prize is sort of like a nobel prize for the environment. This is the single largest award for individuals or organizations who are involved in climate and environmental work.
Prince William is continuing the work that his father, Prince Charles, has been passionate about by honoring those who are actively creating solutions to solve our planet’s environmental problems.

He came up with the idea for a green award during a visit to Africa two years ago. The award ceremony will be held in a different city every year with the premiere ceremony taking place in London in 2021. It is the hope of Prince William and the Council for the Earthshot prize to have at least 50 solutions to problems that fit the framework of the five earthshots or objectives. The director of the Earthshot Prize is Jason Knauf who is also CEO of the Cambridges’ Royal Foundation. The outlines for claiming the prestigious prize have yet to be announced.

According to a conversation with CNN, Prince William said:
“We want to change the conversation and show that we can provide solutions, we can tackle this, and in 10 years' time, we can make our planet more sustainable and more prosperous and better for everyone."

It’s no secret that I gab quite a bit about news concerning the royal family and this particular announcement of the Royal Family is one that personally makes me green with excitement! Prince William becomes more and more admirable every day. A prince who can model good and charitable behavior is one thing but to also carry out a mission to help save the planet and appreciate the folks who are doing the good green work every day is exemplary!
