FDA Bans First FD&C Dye! Which Will be Next?

The FDA has moved to finally ban Red Dye No. 3 from use in food and drugs in America.  Red Dye No. 3 was first determined to be a cancer causing color additive almost 30 years ago.  Studies conducted using labs rats found that they became inflicted with the disease after consuming large amounts of Red dye No. 3.  Thirty years ago, the FDA officially banned Red Dye No. 3 from use in cosmetics but left the door open for it to be used as a color additive in food and prescription drugs.  By January 2027, the FDA has ordered that Red Dye No 3 must be removed from all food in the USA and by 2028--from all drugs. Sustainable Car Company Tesla Unveils New Model Y

Elon Musk unveiled the Tesla Model Y, an electric SUV, at the Tesla design studio on Thursday, March 14th. The Model Y has a few marked features of the Model 3. It is similar in texture to the Model 3 with its falcon wing doors and design. The most important feature to note about Model Y is its larger interior space with the potential to be a seven seater. Model Y will be the perfect vehicle for the environmentally conscious parents with a small brood. Running on battery power, Tesla’s Model Y will go the distance of 239 miles. Luxury features in the Model Y include a panoramic glass roof similar to its predecessor. At design studio Musk gives us quite the picture stating, “It just feels like you can see the sky.”





The Model Y begins at $39000 for base version and can inch upwards of $60000 after selecting additional features. The model Y’s release date will be in the fall of 2020.





Now with over 1400 supercharging stations worldwide, Tesla cars are a very cost effective and green choice for the conscious consumer. at $9.68, a Tesla model S is fully charged. Tesla's supercharging technology is unlike any other needing only 5 minutes for a 75 miles charge. Eleven years ago musk released Tesla's very first car. Since then, Tesla has now produced 1,000,000 cars. That's quite a feat Mr. Musk!!
