Paris Hilton recently welcomed Allure and viewers into her high tech spa which she’s named Sliving Spa . The name Sliving™ was derived from the phrases “slaying” and “living your best life.” She's trademarked the phrase and it even appears on her license plates. Paris is an active participant in the longevity and wellness scene and prioritizes innovative methods for self care, beauty and relaxation.  Hilton revealed a number of high tech machines in her personal spa that she regularly uses to keep her looking young and fresh. Sliving spa is the ultimate glam spa! New York Goes a Little Green with Plastic Bag Ban

Any one familiar with bodegas and grocery stores in New York knows about our little grocery bag problem! Okay, that’s an underestimation because it has become a huge problem for the state, especially when litter is taken into account. New York residents use 23 billion plastic bags on an annual basis, greatly contributing to environmental issues.





New York is becoming the second state to issue a statewide ban on single use plastic bags. This is a monumental legislation for the state which is being agreed upon by lawmakers within Senate. California was the first state to ban plastic bags in 2014, allowing businesses to charge 10 cents for reusable and paper bags. Governor Cuomo has set a goal to reduce emissions from our state’s generation of electricity and also desires to see a carbon free economy. He announced his Green New Deal in January of this year. Under this deal, it is proposed that New York will be 100 percent carbon neutral by 2040, ultimately eliminating the state’s entire footprint.

PETA Protester Confronts Pharrell Williams During Film Premiere

A protester from the organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), disrupted a speech being given by Pharrell Williams at a Biopic Premiere in Toronto.  She rushed the stage with a white sign in her hand that read:  Pharrell: Stop Supporting Killing Animals for Fashion.  Pharrell was in Toronto to support his LEGO biopic entitled, Piece by Piece.   The protester directed a number of statements towards Pharrell and the audience concerning his role as men's creative director at Louis Vuitton.   "Your Louis Vuitton collection … Pharrell’s collection is made from their blood,” the protester shouted to the audience. “Pharrell stop torturing animals! Ostriches are being hung upside down, electrocuted with their necks slit.”   PETA is petitioning Louis Vuitton to stop abusing animals and using their bodily materials for the purpose of fashion creation.  During the protest, Pharrell made a pause during his speech and outright...
