5 Reasons Why You Should Try 22 Days Vegan Meal Delivery

A few months ago (if you can remember), Green News Guide introduced you to a company called 22 Days Nutrition. 22 Days Nutrition offers a vegan meal delivery program along with a range of other health and wellness products. I was able to try the 5-day 2x vegan meal per day program. Here are five reasons why you might want to try them out!

1. Plant Based, Vegan, Organic, Gluten Free, Soy Free and Dairy Free
Yes there are quite a few diet delivery programs available to individuals seeking to lose weight or for the mere, simple convenience of having pre-prepared meals. 22 Days Nutrition is the first of its kind. There are currently no other vegan meal delivery programs on the market!! Combine that with also being gluten free and soy free. This kind of food delivery service is extremely hard to come by!
2. Packaging is Recyclable
Your vegan meals will arrive in a brown box wrapped snugly in a reusable cooler surrounded by reusable gel packs. You can store the gel packs in your freezer and use them to keep future lunches cool.Or better yet, you can give them away to family members or friends. The actual containers that the meals are placed in are recyclable as well.

3. Tasty, Filling Vegan Food
Of course! You want to know how the food tastes, don’t you?! I was surprised at the variety of dishes in the 22 Days Nutrition vegan meal delivery service. Each dish had a great portion of veggies and grains. The Louisiana Lentils & Brown Rice was superb. It had a real hearty, meaty flavor and reminded me of Jamaican style oxtail and rice and peas! No seriously…it did! The dish somehow managed to conjure up some meat tasting flavor magic while remaining true to its vegan core.
Examples of other dishes that came included the ‘Golden Split Pea with Turmeric Rice‘ and the ‘Dualing Peppers & Chipotle Pinto Bean.’ The food resembled the colors of the rainbow and that is how dining and nutritious eating is really supposed to be! The food can be heated by microwave or removing it from the dish that it came in and placing it in a pot for stove top or an oven safe dish for the conventional oven. The portions were pretty large.
At no time did I feel like I was starving between and after meals. Also, keep in mind that the 2 meal per day plan was ordered. 22 Days Nutrition does have a 3 meal per day plan if that’s your preference! Whether you are or aren't a vegan, the diet shouldn’t be to hard to get used to as the meals are all pretty hearty and filling!
Take a look at these pictures!

4. No Calorie Counting
There is no keeping track of calories with this vegan meal delivery service. The nutrition facts are listed on all the meals as well as the ingredients. You get balanced, plant based nutrition with this vegan delivery service. I mean, we’re talking good, wholesome, healthy ingredients like: obo squash, rainbow chard, carrots, split peas, celery and broccoli. Oh, and you aren’t missing out on protein. The Louisiana Lentils and rice had a whopping 26 grams of protein, which brings me to my next point.

5. High Potential for Losing Weight
If losing weight is your objective, then 22 Days Nutrition’s vegan meal delivery service may be right for you. They currently offer a 26 day option should you choose to refrain from the weekly option. The likelihood of dropping weight on this plan is very high. The meals are extremely low in fat, have a high fiber content and are balanced and nutritious. The only thing left for you to do is to try it out and see!
