     Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been chosen by President Trump to oversee the Department of Health and Human Services. Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. or RFK Jr. as he’s affectionately nicknamed, hails from the very promininent and politically involved Kennedy family. He has a great legacy to uphold as the Kennedy family has so strongly and positively impacted the historical and political landscape of the United States. That family has experienced so much tragedy amongst its members but they’ve managed to overcome. The matriarch and patriarch of the Kennedy family, Joseph and Rose must be smiling down with joy about the impact that their entire lineage has made on society. New York Fashion Week: Kate Spade's Nature Inspired Collection

New York Fashion Week has come and gone just as quickly as it came! The runways were fragranced with the scent of blissful spring air as models sashayed down the runways.


The top three collections from Mercedes Benz Fashion week Spring & Summer 2015 would have to be Naeem Khan, Oscar de la Renta and the lovely Dennis Basso.


Oscar de la Renta painted such a beautiful picture of a dreamy, picture perfect spring day.
With the romantic floral prints amidst green backdrops, you'd think you were laying in a bed of thick, fresh cut grass sniffing a row of tulips, daisies and alpine flowers. How, oh how, does Mr. de la Renta do it?!

Naeem Khan's designs were gracious and bold all at the same time. Silky bow ties juxtaposed with long, sheer gowns provided all the glitz needed to feed the glamorous woman's heart.
At Dennis Basso, we learn the rules of how to wear a bombshell faux fur in the spring time.
With all that said, we have to give the Green Award for fashion to Kate Spade.




Kate Spade's choice of paying homage to our friendly sea and land creatures was a fine one indeed!








From the wicker weaved crab, fish and frog handbags to the decadent pink, floral plant pot pouch, we appreciate her attention to these beautiful, earthly treasures and creatures.




We'll take one of each bag please!
To sum up the Spring 2015 fashion forecast in ten words, think: eyelets, lasercut details, florals, florals, oh... did we say florals?

Fenty Hair Line Full Product Review

When I received an email from Fenty Beauty that Rihanna was dropping a hair line, I was super stoked and ready. Like literally jumping up and down. That's how much I love the Fenty Beauty brand.  Listen, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin have GREAT products! When Fenty Beauty dropped several years ago, I can remember the advertising so well.  It offered and showcased a huge variety of foundation shades and proved itself to be an inclusive line with high performing, quality and clean products. Everybody--- and I mean everybody--- was talking about that drop!  It's literally set the blueprint for other cosmetic companies which have tried to copy and also carry more shades for darker skin tones.  Though I've used Fenty Beauty/Skin several times over the last several years, I'd say my current fave from Fenty Beauty is the lip balm. The First Bio-Based Cars

  Cadillac recently introduced the Sollei , a green concept vehicle which incorporates bio-based materials.  The Cadillac Sollei is an electric luxurious convertible which features interiors made from Fine Mycelium™ by MycoWorks.  The luxury biobased material was grown from mushroom roots.   The material was incorporated into the wireless charging pad, interior door map pockets and behind the screen.   The interior décor is wrapped in unstained wood veneers while the windshields are framed in brushed aluminum.  The Sollei boasts a luxury Manila cream finish, a pale creamy yellow hue that was used in 1957 and 1958 models.
